The Harbour City Backpackers Hotel has a very prominent locattion on a corner block in Woolloomooloo, and inner city suburb of Sydney. It's bounded by Sir John Young Crescent (west), Crown Street (east) and at the rear of the building Cathedral Street (south) Opposite The Harbour City Backpackers Hotel is the 'Domain', and the entrance to the Domain car park. The Domain is a large grassy public area that is often used as an entertainment venue for all types of Sydney events. Located in and around the Domain grounds there are playing fields, walkways, a cafe, many large shady trees to relax under, the Art Gallery of NSW is also with these grounds. In the background is Sydney's horizon with Centre Point Tower being the most prominent feature. We are also a very short walk from several pubs, clubs, shops, cafes and places to eat.
