The Harbour City Backpackers Hotel is very close the Sydney's inner city parklands & the harbour, only a short walk away you can stroll through the botanical gardens along the harbour's edge. Opposite The Harbour City Backpackers Hotel is the 'Domain', and the entrance to the Domain car park. The Domain is a large grassy public area that is often used as an entertainment venue for all types of Sydney events. Located in and around the Domain grounds there are playing fields, walkways, a cafe, many large shady trees to relax under, the Art Gallery of NSW is also with these grounds. Further behine the Domain is the botanical gardens which leads around teh Circular Quay and the Sydney Opera House. In the photo below you can clearly see Sydney Harbour, The Harbour Bridge, Centre Point Tower and other city landmarks. We are also a very short walk from several pubs, clubs, shops, cafes and places to eat.
